Meet Dr. Zachary Scott
DVM
Dr. Z grew up in Seneca, Missouri: a small town on the Missouri-Oklahoma border. From a young age, it was clear that a career studying and working with animals was in the future. After receiving a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor of Captive Wild Animal Management from the University of Missouri in 2016, Dr. Z worked as an assistant in equine and small animal veterinary clinics until beginning veterinary school at the University of Missouri in 2018. After graduating in May of 2022, Dr. Z joined our team at Animal Health Care Denver!
Dr. Z has one cat at home named Willow and two mules that live back in Missouri. Dr.Z’s interests include discovering new hiking spots, social activism, reading/audiobooks, and playing video games.
